Blood Buzz Newsletter – February 2026

Dear Donor,

February is often called the month of love. At WCBS, we see love every day — in clinics, in quiet acts of generosity, and in stories that don’t always get told.

This month marks the first of a slightly new rhythm for Blood Buzz. You’ll be hearing from us more often, with shorter newsletters and fewer articles. The reason is simple. We want to create more space for stories — your stories — and to share them while they’re still fresh, relevant, and close to the heart.
In this edition, you can read about the real impact of blood donation, including how one donation can help more than one patient, as well as the meaning behind milestone donations and the small tokens of appreciation that say thank you. You’ll also meet people whose lives have been changed because someone, somewhere, chose to donate.

February is also a month of reconnection. If you haven’t donated in a while, you’re not alone. Life gets busy. Schedules change. Health, work, and family all play a role. As part of our February focus, we’re reaching out to say: we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re ready to donate again or just want to reconnect, your place in this life-saving family remains. We would love to hear from you, just click here.

Blood donation is a personal journey, shaped by where you are in life and showing up when you can. Thank you for being part of the WCBS story — whether you donated last week, last year, or are thinking about returning. There are many more stories to be told, and we hope you’ll be part of them.

Best wishes, until next time.
